Job Summary

The Industrial Technologies Department is looking for interested, motivated students to help set up, use, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in the Applied Technology & Community Labs in the new Applied Technology & Trades Center (ATTC). The Applied Technology Lab houses several process control trainers and electronics equipment. The Community Lab is a space for students, faculty, and staff to learn about and explore small electronics, robotics, 3D printing, and fabrication. The goal is for the Community Lab to eventually be available to all members of the local community, so we need your help to do it well.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Have an interest in using or learning about technology, including 3D printers, process control trainers, soldering, developing on Arduino or Raspberry Pi microprocessors or equivalent.
2. Ability to assist the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
4. Ability to follow a process.
5. Ability to perform duties with limited supervision once trained.
6. Must be punctual and must follow a work schedule assignment.

Preferred Qualifications
Work Hours Day or evening opportunities available.
